Privacy terms in brief
This is the privacy statement of Research Chemicals Team. Applicability: This privacy statement applies to all privacy-sensitive information or personal data you provide to us, for example through a registration form, contact form or orders you place.

We attach great importance to the privacy of our customers and therefore take the greatest possible care in handling and protecting personal data. We process data in accordance with the conditions imposed on it in the General Data Protection Regulation (AVG).

Research Chemicals Team is the controller within the meaning of the AVG with respect to the processing of your personal data. This means that only we determine which personal data are processed, for what purpose and in what manner. We are responsible for ensuring that your personal data is processed in a proper and careful manner in accordance with the AVG. In this privacy statement we explain which data we process and for what purposes they are used. Overview of personal data Below is an overview of the personal data we process:

If you have not given us your explicit consent for the processing of your personal data or if you have withdrawn such consent, the processing of your personal data may be subject to the bases under Articles 6 (1) (b), (c) and/or (f) of the AVG. Processing of your personal data may in that case take place without your consent, provided that it is necessary for the performance of an agreement to which you are or become a party, or necessary for the protection of the legitimate interests of Research Chemicals Team. In addition, we may be under a legal obligation to process your personal data.

We process your personal data for the following purposes:

Provision to third parties
We may share your personal data with third parties if this is compatible with the purposes stated above. Provision to third parties may be necessary for the performance of the agreement we enter into with you, necessary to pursue a legitimate interest of ours, or necessary to comply with any legal obligation incumbent upon us.

With companies that process your data on our behalf, we enter into a processor agreement to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. We remain responsible for these processing operations. Other than the foregoing situations, we only provide your personal data to other third parties with your express consent.

Commercial purposes
We may use your personal data for commercial purposes, for example to inform you in more detail about our services or relevant products or changes in legislation relevant to the offer. In this case, you will only be informed at the e-mail address you have registered. If you do not wish to receive information about relevant products or services, you can simply indicate this by clicking on “unsubscribe” in the received email. As part of market research, your personal data will be anonymized before it can be used to optimize our services and will no longer be traceable to you.

We use Google Analytics in the manner prescribed by the Personal Data Authority to fall under the exception in the cookie law, which means that we do not require your prior consent to use Google Analytics.

View, correct or delete
You have the right to view, correct or delete your personal data. You also have the right to withdraw your possible consent to data processing or object to the processing of your personal data. You have the right to data portability (“data portability”) if we have digital personal data that we either process with your consent or process to carry out an agreement we have with you.
This means that you can submit a request to us to send the digital personal data that we hold about you in a readable computer file to you or another organization named by you.
You can send a request for inspection, correction, deletion, data transfer of your personal data or a request to withdraw your permission or objection to the processing of your personal data to info@research-chemicals-team.net.

To make sure that the request for inspection is made by you, we ask you to send a copy of your ID with the request. In this copy, black out your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip of numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and Citizen Service Number (BSN). This is to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as soon as possible, but within four weeks.

We take the protection of your data seriously and take appropriate measures to prevent abuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized modification. If you have the impression that your data is not properly secured or there are indications of abuse, please contact our customer service or at info@research-chemicals-team.net.
